Actually Republic Commando is the first media I encountered where characters with ASPD, BPD are not depicted as serial killers.

But if anyone has other recommendations about media (movies, books) where personality disorders are not used for shock value as in stereotypical serial killers in a horror/thriller, I'm all ears. (Without sarcasm.)

the entire season they've shown sylvie perpetually being okay to just walk away from the fray and getting no consequences whatsoever. which would be ok since she doesn't rlly care about them like loki does. but in the end she just moves on so fast after she watched loki isolate himself and go off JUST to fix her mistake.......

meanwhile mobius is there, frozen in that time, left behind by the person he's an "expert" on not only bc of his job but bc of their friendship, him quitting the job that was his entire life, because loki has left and his previous purpose didn't have loki anymore

it's just fucked up how everyone else got their happy endings (good for them) except for loki and mobius. they're apart, separated once again, looking miserable in their last shots. just like last season.

And so glad they kept Gabe going on the news to badmouth Percy. Now I don't want to see ANYONE try to say crap like "he's not as bad in this version" or "they make him too nice" anymore!!!! If you see a parent (step parent included) say awful things about their kids just to look like the victim and NOT think that's abusive or the sign of a bad person, I don't know what to tell ya. But hopefully this will put the "Gabe isn't a bad guy in this version" allegations to rest.

Something I love is when idols get to have cameos of their careers, talents, or other characters in their work. One of my favorite examples is how ‘Heartbeat’ by 2PM, is referenced in dramas which star members of the group. It’s such an iconic song and is such a popular 2nd gen one that everyone knows (or definitely should).

Ok Taecyeon of 2PM as Jang Han-seok/Jang Joon-woo in the drama, ‘Vincenzo’ (2021)

Also in ‘Vincenzo’ we see two other members of 2PM, Nickhyun and Chansung cameo, as well, as two characters in a drama that Joon-woo watches.

In the drama ��What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?’ (2018), Hwang Chan-sung of 2PM played the character Go Gwi-nam, who gave a hilarious homage to his group and their hit song ‘Heartbeat’ by singing in front of his coworkers in an embarrassing but ever so entertaining scene.

a man that's an impossibly old creature that has a dark past and deals with problems in a harsher way than usual due to understandable circumstances and who is highly competent and charismatic (and who has a soft spot for dogs),

with a younger woman who is just new to the world of adventuring with (literal and figurative) wide eyes and a softer heart than most and who is skilled in her own way but grows to make the tough decisions in the end,

and they're both narrative foils of one another, both morphing into a little bit of each other....

AND the antis are calling it a father-daughter relationship

Random Ramble

This is completely random, but, I will forever stand by the idea that the Sing movies would have been amazing as tv series instead. 

Like imagine, we could have had more fleshed out relationships and background development, we would have gotten the chance to truly see every character's deeper motivations, and it would have been awesome.

Villains could have more of a build up to their reveal of said villainy and now we're as shocked as the characters are. We could have seen cute fluffy moments developing the troupes relationships. We could have seen backstories. Backstories y’all!! 

Like we could have found out why the gang was stealing or how Buster and Eddie met! They’ve apparently been extremely close for years and we see none of their origin story. Has Buster known Mrs. Crawly since he was a kid? Does Clay like astronomy? How did Ash get into music? Why did Johnny stop playing piano as a kid? Has Meena always been afraid of singing in public? What was Rosita like when she was younger? We don’t know!!

Just think of the practical limitless possibilities of Sing the TV Series. We could know. so. much.
